• Serial numbers and model numbers you enter are used solely to process your request.
• We do not store serial numbers, model numbers, or search queries beyond the duration of your session.
• We do not associate your searches with any personal identity.
• We do not sell, share, or license any user input data to third parties.

Smart Lookup & AI Processing

Smart Lookup uses AI to research model numbers and product descriptions. When you submit a Smart Lookup request:

• Your input is sent to a third-party AI provider to perform research. Please do not include personally identifiable information in your lookup queries.
• Item Assist does not retain the AI's responses beyond your current session.
• Smart Lookup results are estimates and should not be used as sole documentation for legal or claims purposes.

Item Assist may use basic, anonymized analytics to understand page traffic and tool usage patterns. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Item Assist's serial number database is hand-verified and maintained to the best of our ability. However, manufacturer formats can change without notice. Item Assist makes no warranty as to the accuracy of decode results and is not liable for decisions made based on results returned by this tool. Always verify age determinations with supporting documentation when required for claims or legal purposes.
